As an entrepreneur, Ron has always looked to find purpose in his work. After he purchased controlling interest in Frog Street in 2006, his rich background in business has helped Frog Street realize its potential as a national leader in early childhood education.
Brenda Claborn is responsible for the Finance and Human Resources functions at Frog Street. As a Certified Public Accountant, Brenda brings to the company a robust accounting career that includes work at Coopers & Lybrand and Solvay Engineered Polymers. She brings her unique, entrepreneurial spirit to Frog Street, having also run her own interior design business for six years.
Cathy D. Zier
Cathy has been supporting academic growth for children her entire career, starting as a teacher and administrator for Special Education. She continued this passion by bringing education technology solutions to teachers though companies such as Apple Computer, GoalView, Public Consulting Group, and Promethean. At Frog Street, Cathy now has the opportunity to influence a child’s life in their early years by providing research-based solutions that support a child’s path to school readiness.
As a former elementary school teacher and long-time advocate for education, Pat has had many great experiences helping match educators with the products and services of great companies like Frog Street to help impact the lives of children. He has managed many successful and mission-driven teams at companies like Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Macmillan McGraw-Hill, Istation, and Achieve3000. He is now in the very rewarding position of managing the Frog Street sales teams across the country bringing our customers together with industry-best programs and materials for early learners.
Sharon and fellow kindergarten teachers co-founded Frog Street and created the original product lines to provide a positive learning experience for children in their own classrooms. She has a rich history as a presenter and exhibitor for educational conferences nationwide. A member of the management team, Sharon is involved in product development, as well as directing Frog Street’s annual Splash Educational Conference.
Carolea began her career teaching in the elementary classroom. Now, for over 25 years, she has been managing teams of authors, editors, illustrators, and graphic designers to create and implement product development plans for PreK-8 educational publishers, including Good Apple, Fearon Teacher Aids, Addison-Wesley, Simon & Schuster, and Creative Teaching Press. She brings her skills of project management, organization, attention to detail, and creativity to Frog Street.
