Utilizing Fine Motor Activities to “Build the Write Foundation” in the Pre-K Classroom
Session Description:
Teachers will dig into the new Texas PreKindergarten guidelines as they explore hands-on materials for fine motor development and writing activities. Participants will leave empowered and motivated to begin implementing engaging and thematically aligned pre-writing/writing activities.

Lauren and Lori’s Bios:
Lauren Delgado and Lori Sanchez are PreK instructional coaches with the Dallas ISD PreK Partnership School. This partnership supports 100+ teachers in childcare sites throughout the district. With over 1,300 students, it is one of the largest satellite schools of its kind in the state of Texas. The goal of the program is to provide high-quality instruction to students in childcare settings. They are passionate about encouraging young writers and promoting social-emotional learning by teaching the whole child.
