Developing Dual Language Learners
Developing biliteracy in the classroom includes various goals, such as understanding the child’s native language knowledge and proficiency in their second language. This session will focus on strategies to inform, differentiate and adapt instruction to develop biliteracy in the classroom.
Zulma has over ten years of teaching experience in Pre-K through 3rd grade, working with English Language Learners in a Bilingual and Dual Language setting. She has been a Consultant for 17 years, working as a National ELL Consultant, National Content Specialist, Instructional Coach, and Regional Consultant.
