Building a Foundation for Critical Thinking
Critical thinking skills begin to wire at birth as the infant explores cause and effect. During the preschool years the child will continue to build a foundation for these skills by experimenting with problem solving. This session will focus on activities that help children develop through skills of observation, analysis and evaluation.
Dr. Schiller’s Bio:
Dr. Pam Schiller is a curriculum specialist and freelance author and speaker. She has worked in childcare and taught in both the public school and on the university level. Dr. Schiller is the author of nine early childhood curriculums, 42 children’s books and more than 30 teacher and parent resource books.
