Social Emotional Learning and Equity in a Post-COVID-19 World
How children are treated and supported in a learning environment influences achievement. It is a child’s emotional connections to classmates, the teacher, and the content that often determine what is learned and how long it is remembered. Every child deserves sincere compassion, access to a variety of ways to learn, and an equitable opportunity in which to do so.
