Character Education
with Travis & Presley
Adventures with Travis & Presley is an innovative curriculum that reinforces essential life skills and character development while demonstrating the importance of using good manners. Research shows that when children act out of kindness and respect for others, they are better accepted by their peers and bullying behavior decreases.
This unique and engaging year-long program is designed specifically for Pre-K to Grade 2 children and highlights eight good-manners themes:
- Please & Thank You
- How to Deal with a Bully
- Good Teamwork
- Good Table Manners
- It’s Okay to Be Different
- Share and Take Turns
- Respecting Others
- Be Polite
The eight themes highlight twelve character education traits: acceptance, compassion, confidence, cooperation, fairness, gratitude, kindness, patience, respect, responsibility, self-discipline, and tolerance.
The program includes a comprehensive teacher guide, 48 student readers, adventure DVD, thematic posters, read-along and sing-along CD, and interactive whiteboard games.
Each lesson includes an opportunity for children to apply what they have learned and a writing activity that can also be as an assessment tool. All lessons are aligned to English Language Arts Common Core State Standards.

Speaking & Appearances
Travis and Friends enjoy visiting schools and talking with children about the importance of having good manners…. and the kids love it!
When Travis first started traveling the country and entertaining children he was amazed at how attentive the children were. “You could hear a pin drop,” Travis said. “There’s just something about a dog that really captures their attention and makes learning fun and entertaining.”
To ensure your institute a quality presentation, every group receives a fun, educational, and entertaining show whether there are 25 students or 2,000 students. We believe in equal opportunity for all students, so our presentations are consistent no matter what the audience size.
