Dianne Patterson is a trainer of trainers and brings her skills alive with interactive presentations. She has presented across the United States at state, regional, and national conferences focusing on intentional curriculum and literacy acquisition. Dianne is the current President of Kindergarten Teachers of Texas. She recently wrote curriculum for English Language Learners through a federal grant with Texas A & M University and has been a contributing writer for early childhood curriculum. Her favorite things are reading and children – especially her four grandchildren!

Identify stages of writing for young children and investigate modeled, shared and independent writing strategies for functional and compositional writing activities. Activities will support the writing process in the classroom.
