Frog Street’s 28TH SPLASH Conference is a unique professional learning experience and joyful celebration in honor of all heroes in early childhood education! Internationally recognized keynote speakers, professional consultants, expert classroom teachers, musicians and entertainers from around the world will convene July 30 – August 1, 2020 to create a truly unforgettable professional development event!
NEW this year, Splash 2020 will be offered as a Virtual event only due to Covid-19 and our desire to keep the attendees and our employees safe. Splash 2020 Virtual will be a unique conference with many of the Frog Street special touches you have come to expect. This will be a Splash to remember! So, drop anchor and join in the fun from home!
WHAT TO EXPECT
SPLASH is a time for like-minded educators to collaborate and incubate ideas, and get recharged for the upcoming school year! Conference sessions and professional trainings are designed to present cutting-edge strategies and the latest research-based educational trends to enhance the classroom and improve student’s performance. SPLASH offers tools for teaching and real-world classroom solutions in a joyful and engaging way – to help you and your young learners grow.
Join us in this time of critical awareness to reflect, network, learn, and discuss solutions for the success of young children during this challenging time in education. We may all be far away in different locations, but not in spirit, as we join together with early childhood educators across the globe to meet the challenge – and help our children Sail into Success!
Educational Sessions
Splash 2020 Virtual breakout sessions will offer interactive experiences, with ideas and content specifically related to the new hybrid learning model – learning at-home, in schools, in centers and distance learning with our youngest children. Presenters and Professional Learning Instructors will facilitate lively discussions and activities to engage all participants!
We want to hear from you, share ideas and learn from each other, get up and move around with our virtual exercises! Being engaged means you are more likely to retain the information presented in the virtual environment. Tools that will be used during Splash 2020 Virtual include: Small Break-out Groups, Chat Functions, Polling, Panel Discussions, Music, Video and more!
Professional Learning Institute
Professional Learning Institute (PLI) this year will feature Steve Spangler’s award-winning online credit course and material supply kit with lessons for STEM and Literacy. Steve provides information to attend his webinar classes online at your own pace and offers an exclusive follow-up webinar for all Splash PLI attendees. Learn more
Curriculum Training
Curriculum Training will be led by Frog Street Professional Development experts. These three-hour implementation sessions provide exciting, interactive instruction of the following Frog Street programs: Infant / Toddler Curriculum, Threes, Pre-K, Pre-k Advanced, and AIM Assessment. Learn more
Conference Facilitators
Conference Facilitators will personally support you throughout the entire conference. Need help online? Can’t log in? Link isn’t working? Splash Virtual facilitators will assist!
