Are your preparing your scholars with a robust (rich) vocabulary? Strong vocabulary instruction involves selecting and prioritizing key words for learning. In learning centers, first bolster vocabulary by generating a pool of words related to the center/activity.  The next step is to match the vocabulary to the developmental needs of individual scholars.  The final step is to outline your instructional strategies inclusive of self-exploration, formal and informal assessment.
